The thruster is a front squat into a push press. Ensure to keep your elbows up during the front squat and get your hips all the way open on the push press to help generate power.

WOD 11:32 I started with 75 lbs and forgot how to do thrusters, I was doing clean and press. I did first 8 like that, thanks Jeanne for setting me straight. Dropped to 65 lbs for the rest. Broke it ups 8 7 6, 6, 5, 4... Pull ups no bands. Thanks for the unintended push Jackie, we were neck and neck most of the workout. I tried to focus on my workout but knew we were close so it helped to push me. Thanks.

WOD - 9:35???? I was breathing too hard to hear...

Increased to #45 and tried deadhangs. Only got 13 and had to go to the purple band.

WOD: "Just Fran" - 7:49. Good moto from Gy Skelton and Jeanne. Looking forward to a break this weekend. Tough week: Hams are shot, groin is wrecked, back sore, chest tender, and shoulders worn out -- GOOD TIMES!

13:?? I didn't catch the seconds. 65# thrusters and ended up doing jumping pullups halfway through round two, pull ups really slowed my time. Good job jacquie and Maj Torke, you guys were smokin.

Staff College is making me WEAK! 10:45 at 65lb. I hope time will allow the 2DMAW COS to participate in the WOD.
