The thruster is a front squat right into a push press overhead. On the front squat, keep the elbows up so the tricep is parallel to the deck. Roll the bar back so it rests on the index and middle finger, this facilitates the bar resting on the shoulder during the front squat. Come out of the front squat to where your knees are slightly bent and then do the push press. Do not start pushing the bar overhead while down in the front squat. Make sure to finish the press overhead with the traps flexed up into the neck (active shoulders) and bar over the head/ears.
Performed the thrusters as perscribed.
Forearms are so done I can not even hold a pencil to write my time in the book. My only saving grace was that I did not puke. Looking forward to the next time.
