Performed the WOD as prescribed. I need to concentrate more on taking my time to fully lock out my arms every time on the Push Jerks at high intensity.
Thanks for the great workout today! look forward to participating as a regular part of the team. Need to work on my pullups in order to not use the bands during later rounds. Push Jerks felt good but, need to work more on my technique. Semper Fi!

My O-lifts in general need lots of work. It really showed on this one. I had a diffcult time cleaning the weight, and then exploding on the push-jerk.
On the other hand, my pull-ups are doing pretty well. Getting just about 5 reps when fatigue was setting in. Almost caught nigel in the end, but his O-lifts are way more powerful and it showed. Very good work out, glad its over.
115 lbs on the PJ's. Felt pretty confident that I could have finished this one as RX'd, just would have taken a lot longer. Maj Ward brought up a great coaching point about be able to lift the RX'd weight, but how much intensity would I be sacrificing. Even at the lighter weight, it was still a crucifier. No Pukie today, but very, very close. Next time RX'd weight.
Energy level is staying way up during the workouts. Zone diet is definitely helping. I started to ease into taking fish oil once daily.
Did 100 sumo deadlift high pulls without stopping. Got two sets of 7 straight reps on push jerks then split up 4/3. Getting about 5-6 pullups initially then working down to 2-3 at a time. Very little rest once getting off the P/U bar.
Nigel, your strength was incredible. What Mac and I were telling you was to get underneath the bar on the push jerk and then stand it up. You should not be in the stand up position right after you press the bar overhead. I think you left your gloves, I got them in my car.

Need to work on learning how to "properly" kip on Pullups. Also need to add weight on Push Jerks for next workout.
