Performed the workout as perscribed.
Great effort from everyone at the 0630 class! On timed WODs like today, try to keep proper form for each exercise. It is understood that when fatigued form will degrade. We should all do our best to allow our form to degrade by ONLY 15-20% when executing WODs at high intensity. Again, great job all!
I am so glad to have found a crossfit group! I've been doing this on my own since April. More recently, I've been in IL for a couple weeks so in the last 18 days I was only able to fit one workout in. Today was a good way to ease myself back in!
My Goal for next time is between 16 and 17 mins.
Took a lot of time to complete because I sacrificed intensity today in order to keep my form solid and leave no doubt about every repetition. My weekend fun of partying and eating whatever I could find kicked me down a little bit too. Poor mental state at the beginning of the wod.
I gotta be honest the last 2 rounds were pretty weak on my part, but I need to focus more on my form. My goal for next time is to complete all 20 rounds.
I got winded at round 7 and had to really push myself through this one. I was really hurting on the pushups, had to break them up from round 7 on. Did not break up the pullups and squats.
15 Rounds
I need to work on my pull ups. Toward the end of the work out I depend too heavily on the bands. I made it the first 4 rounds without assistance, and was able to do singles but never the whole set of five after that.
At about round 14 I began wondering what was going to occur first, round 20 or me collapsing in total heat exhaustion. Fortunately, I made it.
After round 10 began knee-pushups. No endurance.
As was expected today was a true eye-opener. Glad to have come out and looking forward to the rest of the week. Long way to go.
8 Rounds prescribed. Should have pushed to 10 rounds. Left shoulder is hurting today. Think I injured it when I fell off my bike last week. (Klutz!) Thank God the sun went behind those clouds today, otherwise the heat would have been making the workout even more of a killer. Noticing improvement after 4 weeks!
Ten rounds, if you want to call it that, but VERY weak on the push-ups, many of them were not worthy.
Tough workout, I was really dragging ass in the second half. But I was able to do the pull ups without assistance this time, so I guess I've made some progress.
A LOT OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
